New governance structure: Virginie Delestre appointed Managing Partner, supported by Cédric Poisvert
Renewal and change of governance for Nomos: Virginie Delestre, partner, succeeds to Héléna Delabarre as Managing Partner, who is handing over the reins after ten years in this role within the firm. Unanimously elected by the collective of nine partners for a three-year term, Virginie Delestre will be supported in her new role by Cédric Poisvert, partner.
This handover marks a new stage in the history of Nomos. It is also accompanied by an overhaul of the governance of the firm founded in 1998, aimed at optimizing the management of day-to-day business, both technical and strategic.
The main objective is to federate the dynamic collective of partners and their teams of about thirty lawyers and legal professionals, who intervene in Corporate M&A, Competition & Distribution, IP – Media and Technologies, Employment Law, Tax Law, Health-Pharma and Litigation.
Legacy and projection
Under the impetus of Virginie Delestre and Cédric Poisvert, the firm intends to build on its solid foundations while projecting a new dynamic. The aim is to consolidate the firm’s achievements and maintain the values that have been its strengthens, while at the same time carrying out an in-depth review to set priorities for the integration of new know-hows and talents, adapted to emerging customer needs, changing working practices and market transformations.

Virginie Delestre, managing partner and partner in employment law
Virginie Delestre advises French companies, international groups and executives on all their employment law issues. A former “Secrétaire de la Conférencé, she also handles litigation matters before civil and criminal courts. Virginie began her career at Gide, then joined Nomos before setting up her own firm. She returned to Nomos in 2014 as a partner.
Cédric Poisvert, partner in healthcare and life sciences
Cédric Poisvert assists all players in the healthcare sector, both in advice and litigation, including criminal law. After beginning his career at the Ginestié firm, he joined Nomos as a collaborating lawyer in 2017, before becoming a partner in 2021.
